16 miles 2670' Sometimes the iced bogs held my weight and sometimes they didn't but the Sealskinz socks held up fine though
It's going to be a stunning day tomorrow so am off for a run on the Carneddau from Aber. Can't wait, so better get to bed. There's a chance of a temperature inversion tomorrow, so MUST not forget the camera. :-)
10 mile recce of tracks about our house on Solway plain. Not much hill work, but plenty mud and water on those back lanes. Nice!!
5mile run this morning takes my total this week to 50 miles with around 7500ft ascent, feeling great. Amazing that just over a week ago I was recovering from shin splint pain and having to rest a week. Shows what a difference a new pair of shoes can make. Motion control shoes are really not worth a damn, neutral or flats all the way from now on
5.6 miles 720' climb on my road route today clockwise for a change. The fifth outing in my Saucony road shoes (neutral) and my feet feel nicely bedded in them now.
A gorgeous run on the Carneddau this morning, 13 miles an 3800' from Aber up to Foel Fras and Carnedd Uchaf and then over to Wnion via the Beras and Drosgyl. Wild horses all over the show. Clear as a bell - lovely!Attachment 5535
27 miles, glorious weather. Couldn't wish for better weather for the weeks long run
Short one with dog, freezing, clouds not lifted all day.

Very eerie Steve (the weather, not the dog)
