Great pictures! Looking forward to the second set!
Yes - thanks very much to all at cvfr for a great race. Better weather than todays pea-souper across the moors!

A bit of a late post, but just to add thanks to CVFR for a great race. Really well organised, a "proper" kit check (although I suspect a few did subsequently ditch some gear, some extremely small looking packs out there), and great marshalling. Haven't done it since 2011, and the route was obviously different; "easier" and certainly faster than previous but still a good route. Nice warm shower at the end was a bonus :D
Thanks all!
Edit: And good to see Dave out snapping too!
Good fun that, balanced the yin and yang of pleasure and pain perfectly. Still aching all down the sides of my hammies. Thanks to all who worked to make it possible and add those little perks, what a selfless job.
Shortly after High Brown Knoll I was trying to catch up with my pacer, slipped on a bog and fell on icy, rocky ground. Cut myself in over a dozen places, took a few minutes to get over the pain and start running again. No actual injury, just pain but I've never fallen that horribly before! As a result I was focusing solely on trying to run again and lost the path. By this time several runners were just about to catch up with me, seemed to clock my vest and five minutes later one of the party realised the main convoy was on another part of the moor about half a mile away in the distance! I'm sorry if you were one of those who took me as the leader.
As a result, plenty of means of improving if I can fit it in next year. Perfect conditions granted but it's a good part of my local area that's just about too far away for me to train on. Glad I've ticket it off and progress. Long races. You can't understand the enjoyment until you do one.
