Heavy snow and winds this morning.
3 to 4 inch and road impassable outside our house at the moment.

Brrrrrrrrrr very wintry out there today! I had to negotiate a slalom course of blown over Wheelie bins and contents on the road this morning. You can tell all the heavy drinkers on our estate as their wheelie bins are still upright (though their owners may not be!).

Snow heading south in Burton. Very wet and not sticking yet though.

Snowed last night and obviously overnight, sticking on the hills, not in the valley.

From just above Ambleside some white streaks are visible on top of Fairfield but given how warm it will be tomorrow it will not last long.

Cairngorms looked plastered yesterday, The Grey Corries and Mamores looked pretty special too with a winter coat one.

Snow in Glen Clova today, not a thick layer but enough to leave you in no doubt winter is here
