Oh, and a big thank you to Mrs Stagger for the lift and use of warm blanket :)
Did any one else fall off the submerged bridge on the climb up Blackhill? I was glad Grouse was just in front to show me where not to go
Yes I did Ian! Glad no one saw me, I must have looked a right muppet, at least it was a soft landing if a slightly wet one. It was only a couple of weeks ago I was showing Emmilou and Jo the very same bridge.
Thanks to all the organisers for a fab day and especially the Mountain Rescue who were dotted all over the route keeping us safe. They were greatly appreciated at the river crossings too as I nearly got washed away on more than one occassion.
Well done Ian on beating your target and Daz for a 2nd place, great running by both of you. All those shortcuts are really paying off!
Who's this bold fellow in black here going for an overtake in the beck? Balls the image is private, it's IMG_0121...and i salute your bravery sir :D

My first Tanky's and a brilliant, brilliant event! I honestly don't think it would have been as much fun if the ground/weather had been better. Those stream crossings were really memorable!
Thanks alot to the organisers, members of Woodhead MRT who turned out and Finnigan Jones for the photos.
Will definitely be back next year.
Jules.
But he beat me. He can bleedin' well cross on his own next time! :D
Well a jolly good day I'd say. Grim but jolly. I had a disgraceful time, if I wasn't very nearly last then I was very actually last, but I didn't seem to annoy anyone.
Thanks Ian, Andy and everyone else especially the mountain rescue people.
