Nice one Stolly, I was over High Street way today and have to say the Helvellyn ridge looked resplendent in white! I don't know about Fairfield, but on High Street there was a hard crust of wind-blown snow on top of about 6-8" of powder that was difficult to walk through let alone run on. After a few miles of that I was well and truly done in, and my lower shins have taken a hammering.Quote:
