I think I'd have liked to have seen him get a proper chance. It wasn't going great but there were players coming in all the time. Nobody can know the best eleven at Leeds just now. but equally we might get a proper quality manager now (....though I doubt this!). Still M.O.T and all that...
I agree, it's hard to see how anybody could do have done a good job with all the turmoil and change. Having said that, Hockoday was a bizarre choice in the first place. Interesting to see who now is prepared to take up the poisoned chalice. One day we'll have a normal club again. But until then, our suffering goes on.
9 goals! A good game for the neutrals and Chelsea supporters.
Aye.. I think he'll play midfield.. hopefully Rojo will firm up the back..
Weird game for Chelsea..
Everton were diabolical, baines and jagielka seemed lost, its worrying for england how poor our centre backs are right now.. we've got very few at their peak, some good young ones but its a risk relying on them.

Crazy few days...
Are Liverpool serious about the title? 3 losses in 5 games is not the form expected.
Amazing start to the Premier League really. Chelsea are pretty awesome but Man City with 10 men got an excellent result today. I thought when Lampard came on he might end up taking a penalty but he scored anyway! Very enjoyable game to watch.
Man United have a game won then lose? Bad management really as you know your defence isn't the best so why risk it especially at 3-2 but then again who does he bring on to shore up the defence ?
Neil Warnock's Palace side gets a win at Everton and Spurs lose again.
Southampton are second even after they lose a lot of their best players ?
Arsenal with Welbeck getting a regular run out are looking good as well.
Hope it continues like this :D
Incredible… City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs, Man Utd separated by 4 points after 5 games..
We're all lucky the season isn't over after such poor starts, can't see anyone but City catching chelsea but the main thing is CL football is very much up for grabs for the first team to sort out their shit...
Football Association chairman Greg Dyke says he has received six watches since taking over the role in July 2013.
Dyke, 67, made the revelation after the controversy of the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) giving away £16,000 watches at the 2014 World Cup.
"I've been given about six watches since I took over at the FA and I don't use any of them," Dyke told BBC Radio 5 live's Sportsweek.
"I don't like the culture of present giving in football."
Didn't refuse any though, no better than the rest of the gang.
A 31 goal thriller last night at Liverpool
Is it just me or does roy Keane look a txxx
Rooney world class.
Ha Ha Ha ha ha ha
Laugh my head off.
5-0 now't special against those lads.
There are no easy games in international football any more.
Blimey! Its quiet in here without Danbert! Can't someone give him a shout to come back!
Meanwhile...interesting to see if Morison can rebilitate his Leeds career with a goal or two today! Milanic still seems to be looking at the squad. Which isn't too surprising with the size of it! At least its not dull at Elland Road.
Yeah! I just this second read that! Unbelievable...32 days, 6 games! By the time the next one fails to get instant success no-one will be interested in the managers job! Looks like Redfearns in, so when he gets sacked we lose a good Youth Development Coach!! Still...upwards and onwards
The job was too big for Hockaday
Redfearn knew the players and got some effort out of them.
Milanic appeared to get a good 1st half out of them but couldn't change it in the 2nd.
I think the owner needs to take a serious look at himself, but that wont happen.
Hey ho that Leeds .
Those NFL lads are messing up the Wembley turf. However it's far more entertaining than watching England play there though
City dumped out by Newcastle.
After ending Swindon's nine match unbeaten run on Tuesday and now ending Preston's eight match winning run today the mighty Dale rise to 4th in the table http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps030c7460.gif
Derby lost. Good to see Gary Rowett doing well. Great guy and a cultured player
Looks a bad start for United so far but I'm pretty happy.
The main thing is 4th is very very achievable..
But we do look much better than last season despite the points total, the last 2 games we've finally competed with Chelsea and City and could have had something from both games.
All 3 penalty claims were fair enough yesterday and Smalling was an idiot. But Hart was awful. If the FA don't ban him for the head thrust at Oliver then they are more spineless than normal.. How can you get away with that, and then send the Villa guy off for a mere push..
Phew! Red Bull have said they're not interested in Leeds U. Wasn't sure I was happy to see them involved...didnt fancy following Leeds Red Bull @ the Red Bull Stadium in Crystal Palace colours! I said to Mrs tfg that if they took over and made major changes to the name, kit etc. I'd see if some started up FC Leeds Utd in Northern Premier League Div 2 and go follow them instead!
Oh dear! City down to nine men, and losing 2-1....Chelsea scrapping a draw....
Whats happened to Nottingham Forest! Losing 0-3, though Brentford are decent.
Forest pulled one back if anyones interested....
Very strange season in the EPL..
Chelsea look to be running away with it but the CL spots are up for grabs.
I've tickets for the United Saints game in January and that now looks a massive game as they are starting to pull clear.
Had teams like Everton and Spurs had better seasons LVG would be under much more pressure, its probably other results which have given him time rather than how we are playing. I'm not too concerned right now, injuries have been a huge factor in our defensive ability so that should improve.
As players bed in top 3 is very much up for grabs. Top 4 and a good run in the FA cup and it'd be a very pleasing first season.. not get top 4 and I'm not sure he'll be given a second year with the investment we've seen.
It's quite conceivable we'll see a huge change in management next summer with Wenger and a few others forced out.
footballs a crazy world..
Last season moyes had 21 puts from 12 games.. Rodgers has 14 from 12...
LVG has 19 from 12.. I do thin k we've progressed, mainly in that we're competing with the other teams, drew with chelsea, beat arsenal and gave city a real battle.. and we've got good new young centre half.. but I think moyes was under too much pressure too early and never recovered.
liverpool look awful, its just superb.
chelsea look by far the best team in the league.
Half an hour to go and City losing to 10 man Bayern! Think I'll go for my shower!
