Superb win for the Stags at Concord Rangers last night. Takes me back to the glory days...
City proving that they're a one man team once again! Pellegrini looked like he was on drugs last night - probably the euphoria of the Sheikh's noose being temporarily lifted from his neck.
Two excellent games of football today. Man City were very good and Frank Lampard was easily man of the match. Spurs in the second match looked a different side from recent Premier league performances.
We're looking good.. much much better than last year, that we should be with all the investment.. but the youth is still there. Wilson, MacNair and Blackett look real players for the future.. De Gea's playing superb and we're finally keeping the ball for long periods. You can see when De Gea gets the ball the defence are under orders to take it short and pass out of trouble..
At the moment I'd let Falcao go, I think Wilson looks a better player..
Liverpools gamble with Balotelli looks to be failing, his tweet was stupid rather than racist but he'll be lucky to escape a ban after Ferdinand's bad.
Top 4 looks very possible, 6 points against Saints up for grabs over the next month or so..
Burnley, QPR, Leicester to drop.. can't see anyone else going down at the moment.
worrying.. but i think Madrid will retain the CL this year.
Liverpool look awful, its just superb.. But I do feel sorry for Gerrard, he's not the player he was, still a great distributor but the games passing him by and he can't influence games like he could. Last season they had Gerrard, Sturridge, Suarez, Sterling... this season none of them are fit, there or at that level.
We went to the pub. City's no 8 had a good game
WHERE IS DANBERT? Any one seen him???
Great performance by City considering the absentees. Nice to have a Manchester team in the last 16 this year :D
Barcelona again for City. Where's Danbert when we need his blindly optimistic insights?
<channelling Danbert> we'll have Barca, they ain't all that. Aguero will score a hatrick in each match.</channeling Danbert>
and then be signed by Barca in the summer.
If we each go to a different Greater Manchester Parkrun we might flush him out.

I think he's training for a comeback in 2015.;)
Like James Dean, he left at the height of his powers.
he hasn't even been on his FB page for a while, unless it's hidden from me...
Virtual existential crisis. It happens a lot.
You would think that clubs would issue a directive to their substitute players that when they are stood on the touchline waiting for the substituted player to leave the field, with the cameras on them, that they refrain from scratching their bollocks :(
So Mike Ashley is not the f**king idiot we thought he was when he stuck by Pardew, instead of having to pay up Pardew's 8 year contract he gets a couple of million compensation from Crystal Palace :D
Ahem!
What's wrong with the Rams? Rhetorical question.
Nothing. I was born in Derby and was a regular at the BBG and PP in the 90's. I'm just interested in how a) Vanders seems to have been left to get on with things b) he's turned things around quietly but efficiently
Fingers crossed that Pearce can turn Forest's fortunes around in 2015 after their recent abominable performances and results.
Looks like wiziwig is out of commission now for the live streaming of football.....good while it lasted as it was free. Have to watch the match in the pub now :D
Bit of a goalfest at Spurs tonight and not a bad day for City all in all.
Stevie Gerrard off to the land of Major League Soccer
Is it like American Football? They just bring him on to take the penalties!
Or breaking some DJ's nose with a smacker of an elbow....
Great player tbf... right call, his legs were gone. Liverpool were much better against swansea without him, more dynamic, fluid.. henderson needs to step free.. like with Ince when Keane got freed up.. I think Gerrard knows this too.
Well done Dale http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/t...bit/woohoo.gif
Looks like Ched is going to join Chaddy
Huish Park fell just short of a record attendance for Manchester United's visit. It remains the 9,527 crowd which watched the League One match against Leeds United in 2008
Could be beaten next year then? ;)
