16.5 miles around Ilkley & Baildon Moor after watching my son race in the under 12 Ilkley Fell race. Felt a bit leggy, which doesn't bode well for the Wuthering Hike..............
Little trip down to the lakes, rounded of the week at 48miles and 13238ft ascent.
Managed to buy the worst fish and chips I've had for a long time. Most disappointing.
27 miles - Mag7 from Heptonstall with 25 brave forumites - not a path in sight - 6hrs50min of bog trotting
Starbotton-Arncliffe-Kettlewell-back to Starbotton via Moor End. 7ml / 2500ft-ish in proper God's country
12 miles around Almscliffe crag area, too much road, not enough fell:angry:
Saturday - South Shropshire Circular LDWA - 25 miles and 3,500' around the Clee Hills - lovely route, ran a fairly strong effort 7th in 4:32: see http://midlands-fell.blogspot.com/20...-25022012.html
Sunday - Frustrating day on my CX bike, trying out bridleways around my new gaff. Most of them are too narrow and/or overgrown to cycle. Ended up doing about 20 miles with a few short steep hill efforts.

4.5 miles with the dogs. Steady plod, as been off colour all weekend. Feel better for it though
Yesterday's training actually - 16 miles / 5100 ft over Helvellyn and the Dodds. Felt great even though I was in cloud, wind and drizzle all day! Took it steady in just under 4 hours.
First run back in the UK since Jan, deffo missed the grass/bogs/mud!! Got bored of sand/sun/rocks!
Bring on some more tomorrow :)
