I wouldn't worry Matt, I wasn't in a hurry today and it would seem the GPS is telling fibs. Closer to 25 apparently.

6m to work, 6m home still feel weak after manplague, roll on the Hobble on saturday, good food, good company and a Guinness or two after, Happy Days:thumbup:
A thoroughly enjoyable jolly round the local patch, clear skies, quiet hills, big grin
A little lunchtime run round local countryside 5.5 miles 800' . Its normally about 5 miles but they had temporarily closed my return path so I had to improvise :D
4.5miles-ish on the road. Probably last run out before Saturday's Hobble :closed:
6 miles in the Cotwolds. same again tomorrow as we mark out the race route for sundays race, lovely running in a new area
Something like 35k/1800m from Hartsop over Thornthwaite Crag, High Street, Kidsty Pike, down to Haweswater, back up over Wether Hill, down to Martindale, up Place Fell and back to Hartsop. Bloody horrible on the tops... claggy, wet and windy.
That's about 100k/6000m in the last seven days. I think the BG training is starting to pay off, although I feel a strange mix of stronger and knackered!
Cheers mate. Now I just need to focus on getting enough ale and dry-roasted peanuts in the engine to keep things ticking over.
Just managed a 2.5mile run first for five weeks since I had abit of calf trouble.
Feels ok see what the rest of the day brings.
Hopefully I'm back. Fingers crossed.
