Thanks Andy and Ian for a great race. I managed not to over-imbibe at the Pennine club dinner the night before and can put my tardiness down to my well-recce'd cunning line over Bleaklow in a couple of secret grough being neck-deep in water :-(
Impressive hail though and I couldn't help noticing that the hares are starting to turn white for winter.
I'd just like to say thanks to Andy as well as he did most of the work.
He had to shoot off as soon as he'd finished as he had to go to work, he's still there now serving beer in his Pub:D He was up at 5 this morning and will be serving till closing time. If any one is in the Penistone area I'm sure he would welcome a visit. He's even hoping to have Rescue Ale on tap soon.
Thanks very much for a great race: a lovely route and really well organised by you and your army of friendly helpers. It was my first Tanky's, I'll be back for more!
