I had that problem with sheep today. Despite the fact I had a sheep dog running with me.
Kentmere Horseshoe in the sunshine for me but ran the tops rather than the race route to get a bit more climbing. About 12m 3800 ft.

10 miles. Saltaire over the moors to Burley-In-Wharfedale. Knee just about held up. May yet make The Wharfedale Off Road Marathon. Shorts & t-shirt, must be summer.

First time in forever my legs feel great. All the treatment is paying off :-). Still slow though.
Bad run of training!! Nowt for 10 days! Work, trip to Scotland and sheer idleness getting in the way!! Back on the wagon today and tomorrow I hope!! Then nowt until Jura!!! Can't wait!! :)
Currently filling my boots...........10 miles tempo last night, 3 mile steady recovery this morning followed by 6 mile Off road intervals tonight......It won't last!!

Just done Addingham town centre to summit of Beamsley Beacon and back this morning, approx 6 1/2miles. Pretty small distance but let me tell you it was an absolute watershed for me and I'm absolutely delighted I made it in one piece. My grade 2 right MCL sprain and left tibial compression fractures from 6 weeks ago were niggly but bearable. Totally pumped I'm back running and it looks like I will be fit to fulfill my leg 2 BGR support duties for MartynP come 8th June!
Only running I've done the last two days is to the toilet. Does that count?
