Had a morning out with IanDarkPeak Fisherfield way, I bailed on the route very early on an managed approx 13 or 14 miles, maybe 2000 to 2500ft.
Im sure IDP will be along with some details or a rather warm trip up north in a few days time.
As for me, my legs are knackered and so is my back. Time for a physio and to get the bike out!
Thursday waited until 4 o'clock to go for a run, only did 7k with nothing to drink, shattered, did same run today at 5:30, 4 minutes faster and it felt easy
Super but slow and sweaty, morning round Saddle Worth Moor, Rimmon Pit and the reservoirs and then over Chew & Black Hill to Isle of Sky. 13 miles and 2300 ups and downs in 2:40. Saw a mixed doubles group toiling up the PW towards the top of Issues Clough. Was it you I was coming up Black Hill at Issues Clough?
13.68miles/1700ft mostly on part of the Osmotherley Phoenix route + a couple of navigation adventures. Was planning on keeping it a slowish run/walk and ended up taking just under 3 hours. Saw one other runner on the Cleveland Way close to Black Hambleton summit plus quite a few mountain bikers & walkers - was a pleasant breeze in parts but very strong sun!
Trotted over Buckden pike and Great Whernside this afternoon, back to car along the dales way. Stunning weather and views.
I bet they were gutted to cancel Cragfest at Kilnsley now, would have been the perfect weekend.
Fairfield Horseshoe on steroids today. Taking the normal route up from Rydal over Great Rigg onto Fairfield. Dropped down the other side over Cofa Pike and St Sunday crag. Path less trodden into bottom of Deepdale and back up on the Hartsop above Howe ridge back onto Hart Crag and then the usual descent back to Rydal. Tough run, very warm, strong wind first thing but cracking views all the way round.
can't say it was running aas it was too hot, but good BG/PB training

Absolutely scorching. legs and feet trashed
Any way stats show 68 miles 25,000ft! 17 munros, 8 blisters in 2.5 days.
