Phew, thanks IDP. That thread feels better.
I suppose I'd better get in training for the big day then.
Did you say you were playing out next week? Early next week???

Can someone provide me with the gridreferences for the route?
Find Marsden on the map, draw a line to Edale going via;
Marsden- Wessenden Valley to Wessenden Head-Black Hill- (first nav test)-Crowden- round Torside res on path- Torside Clough-(2nd test)-Snake(Lady clough) down road to Snake inn-Gate side Clough-Golden clough Edale Finish
I can give you better details if you wish but there are only two CPs.
There will be one after crossing the road at Crowden GRef TBC
The next one will be outside Snake Inn on road.
Then the finish the rest is up to you,
Ps Don't be tempted to go Down Allport, it is a long way round.;)
I'm doing the bleaklow leg on Tuesday slowish pace,
Thanks Ian
Hi Novice, as Ian says, start at Marsden / finish at Edale hitting both check points, the choice is yours, however there are one or two optimum routes dependant on who you are talking to.
I have put a route, the one I have used most, on "map my run" see
http://www.mapmyrun.com/run/united-k...n/920762552850
Ian does Bleaklow different, make your own mind up.
