We set off from home (Pendle) at 9.00am, and the race was still on, but when we got to Kendal we hit big snow. The main Prizet dual carriaway was down to 1 lane and that had 3'' of snow in the middle of it. Some friends staying in Elterwater phoned to say the race was off so we turned round and headed home:thunbdown:.
Arrived home and polished off the mulled wine :thumbup:
Made it from Rossendale, battled through the snow. Got to lakes runner to find race cancelled and ran the route anyway. then hit the sales.
Made it down from Threlkeld through snow only to find it cancelled. Snowball fight in park with my kids instead.

Looking forward to this, forget about christmas for another year. Might get some showing off in and jump the cattle grid, only if there's girls watching though :rolleyes:.
