3 recces, tour of pendle, lots of map pouring but.....

i reckon i should take the prescription of antibiotics for my rather attractive cough (and the 2 preceding weeks of lethargy) as an indication that i probably shouldn't run on sunday :(

Is anyone interested in sharing a minibus to Marsden? Leaving Edale at 6am (or south sheffield at 5.30) will cost about 10 quid. only 1 space left...

I really like linear routes as it feels like you are going somewhere rather than running round in circles.:rolleyes:

I was just thinking about what I was up to a year ago more or less to the day: a 'Character Building' 12hour+ muddy trudge round Rotherham, mostly in pouring rain. Surely Tanky's can't be that bad :eek:?! Answer here Sunday eve / Mon morning :D

No derelict cars or chavs chasing you for a start and I think I prefer the bogs of Bleaklow to those muddy fields. just remember to save a bit for that last climb:eek: it really is a killer:o

This may be a stupid question but does "Wind: SSW" mean the wind is blowing from the south or towards the south, I know which I would prefer.

Means it's blowing from the south south west, which is more southerly than south westerly if you see what I mean.
