Brett were does one find a map ??
Where's the best place to park in Haworth please?
I'll need to leave my car for a good 6 - 7 hours and don't want clamping!
can dogs come?
Mrs Stagger - when we ran the Yorkshireman from the school rather than the community centre we parked at the school with the assistance of the caretaker. I don't know if Brett has arranged it for the Hobble though, he's away until tomorrow so don't expect an answer just yet. Be very careful if you use the car park they're very keen with the clamps.
There's plenty of parking at the bottom of the park below where the Yorkshireman starts. Coming up the hill that goes up to bottom of cobbly main road, take first right just after railway bridge ;)
See you there folks...anybody recommend a good spot (im hoping to run 8-10 miles). Will ben equipt with jelly beans and the like....Fish and Chips in howarth is too godd an offer to refuse
Hi Mrs S
I had confirmation of my race entry with my number on it sent to me last week.
It also said that registration is from 6.30 to 7.30 am at Haworth Primary School now and not the Community Centre, and that there is ample parking at the school, so that's where my motor is being dumped.
Haworth Primary School, Rawdon Road, Haworth, BD22 8DW.
See you on Saturday!

Think this has been posted earlier in the thread.
Come into Haworth passing the railway stn and fire stn on your right.Follow rd over bridge and turn immediate right. If you're early enough there's usually
a good chance of parking.Stay at the bottom.Don't go up Butt Ln.(unless you hear different from Brett)
Won't be making it this year.Injured! Gutted!
Good luck all.I may come and cheer you on:cool:
Thanks everyone, that's a great help. See you all on Saturday!
Parking problems?
Try www.albmaleaf.co.uk
Confirmation from the caretaker at the school about parking. £2 donation to school funds. We might even persuade Antisocial to don his black tie to park everyone up again.
Is the car park at the end of Sun Street still ok for parking?
??? does that mean the finish is at the school as well - the infromation I can find still says the community centre for registration?
The 'car park' on the school grounds is behind the Comm. Centre as well as behind the school. In fact, the Comm. Centre seems nearer to it as less vertical distance is involved.
And I think that if the gentleman in evening dress is in attendance, we'll find him to be the utterly charming and delightful Mr Smithson, and not the loathsome Antisocial. People sometimes confuse the two, but it's a Jekyll and Hyde thing.
And my race details say to go to the Community Centre...
There doesn't appear to be any update on the K&C website; not that I can find my way around it since the most recent facelift. :)
Only joking...:D
Sorry, I've been away for a couple of days and have been waiting for confirmation....
Haworth Community Centre has been closed for a few weeks.
The event has been moved to Haworth Primary School, Rawdon Road, Haworth, BD22 8DW, about 300m up the road from the Community Centre.
There will be parking available at the school for a small charge - funds going to the school. (Please car share, if possible)
Registration and the finish of the race will be at the School. (The actual start of the race still being outside the Fleece Pub.)
For the finish of the race follow the instructions to crossing the road at the pelican crossing, then instead for running down Butt Lane, turn left and run up the pavement to the school. The last 200m will be marked.
Anyway, see you all on Saturday,
