Oh crap, Fergie side are looking like winners again.
Come on anyone
A lot of football still to be played... I'm worried its set up for a Tevez the hero come back...
But strange Pogba played..
United still aren't 100% but De Gea is really stepping up, he'll make mistakes but could be a true great. A tough 4 games coming up for chelsea. United have the easier run for the next few weeks, but playing teams fighting for survival always throws up the odd results, look us at against Blackburn, and then we went and took a huge points total from Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Norwich all games we could have slipped up in...
Re: Tonight's football thread
I always said Warnock was the right man for the job.

Danbert, rearrange these three words to give a well-known football phrase: bum speaky time
United by four point is my prediction :closed:

Our lack of pace, tempo and urgency away from home of late is worrying me Tupster.
We are a monster side at home and why we seem to worry about the opposition away from home far more than just trying to play like we do at home and let them do the worrying beats me!

See the fan crying in the stands... that's our big hope.. the team may not get jittery, but the fans will and could affect the team at home towards the end of the season..
Re: Tonight's football thread
You have to take your hat off to Ferguson. No other manager could lead a team that shit and uninspiring to the top of the table. Whatever you think of Bacon Face, he's surely the best club manager there's ever been.

Spot on Dan. Fergie is an enigma.
I'm keeping a low profile this season but I took great pleasure in today's games :-)
Danbert, tick tock

I think it's very shrewd of Mancini to tuck City in behind the leader for the last stages of the race.
As an Italian, a country that's keen on bicycle racing, he'll probably know that it's the best position to be in before ruthlessly taking the win at the bitter end.

taking the cycling analogy, I would say Utd are the Cavendish train that usually get there in the end and City are the Tyler Farrar looking for some crumbs from the table when Cav's lot slip up.
