Great little 5.5 mile loop up Hameldon hill. Seemed to fly round, loads of traction from the new 290's which are now softened up and are comfy. just hope the niggle at the very top of my hamstring does not track down and get worse....................
A great 5 mile loop over the back hills this evening, hampered by me having a dodgy tummy and feeling weak and feint at the top of the main climb. Probably beriberi, diphtheria, yellow fever or lassa fever or maybe a combination of all four but, not one to make a fuss, I bashed on round all the same .
1st proper K&C headtorch run of the 'winter'. Lovely hour and a quarterish from White Lion Kildwick :)
Nowhere near as great as Ady's & Stolly's runs in terms of terrain but a 6 miler from home with a few hills (and flat towpath bits!!).

Good 1 1/2 hr run out around Dovestones last night in the end. A disastrous start (was late to meet everyone -sorry! :() but ran up onto the tops and met up later. Small world aroud there....;) Three ascents in all onto the Chew edges. A super night for it.

A run round the Mickledon Straddle route. The climb up Cut gate was desperate in to a very strong head wind, then went clockwise round the route a much nicer run I think. the Climb up from Slippery Stones was a delight as I hopped from one foot to the other with the wind blowing me up the hill, I've never gone up there so fast;)
Total time 2.27
Met a lady from Denby Dale grinding her way up on the out ward leg and past an older 'runner' heading down to SS wearing trail shoes proper trousers(crease an all) and collared shirt with a black jacket:confused: is this the clothing of the future?
