one hour 30 mins down the gym at 7 this morn . yesterday 6 hilly miles on roads and trails around burton dasset country park . two sunny days great .
...I remember Burton Dasset well - went orienteering up there a couple of times when in my teens and still living in North Oxon.
...today 4.5 miles Rodley-Newlay circular. Was going to go a bit further but the swing bridge at Calverley was open so couldn't get across canal & up the hill and couldn't be bothered with waiting around or doing more along the towpath itself!!

just a steady 20 miles of jogging with the dogs...
5 miles this AM (Nearly sacked it off and stopped in bed, when do the light mornings come back?)
10 miles this PM around Manchester centre starting at Sports City.
Wicked hill session, out for about an hour inc warm up then beasted the hills. tough but worth it.
....30 mins tempo run...just above threshold...5 mins steady jog down and then 30, 45, 45, 60 seconds full efforts on hill/incline, jog back to start point...all done on road and lanes!

16.5 miles/3,250' ascent taking in 3 Dales from Horton In Ribblesdale. I suspect route details will be on Stolly's log soon...............

Snoopys layby - BlackHill - checked out a new way of getting over to stile on Tankys (much better than previous route taken;) ) - and return..51.03 Mins
Weather was superb on Blackhill at times you could see for inches and inches, a slight smattering of torrential autominal rain and the autumn breeze gently battering the living daylights out of all and sundry....Darn it, the caravan alas was not present in Snoopys layby, how I had much looked forward to the idea of an ice cream :rolleyes:

20 x 1 min three quarter/sprints around the estuary park with 30 sec rests

5m off road to work, wet and boggy on Norland Moor, nice wash in river, shower, then 8 hours of hard graft:rolleyes:

Bit less than 2hours wandering around in the mud and rain tonight with the club. Possibly might have got lost once or twice ;)
Early start this morning with Marvin. up over Bleaklow via Torside clough and Hern Stones down towards the rain guage but turned back before reaching it, Returned vis Bleaklow Stones and down Wild Boar (Slippy rock) clough.
I think Andy said it was 9.5 miles and around 1750 ft.
Rest day tommorrow as I'm working.

4 or maybe 5 miles around the fields and a park in Castleford tonight and a whopping 5 minutes faster than last week :). I can at long last 'feel the power'!
Oh and thats 46 miles this week give or take since Saturday last :cool:
