oh, and here's dom's calculator: http://www.nblg.co.uk/champ/
Hi Daz, I'm back. Tarawera Ultramarathon yielded all of 17 points for me, which is predictable with the world class competition. American Sage Canaday won for the 2nd year with a time of 5:33:38 compared to my 10:11:04. So, I'll take Sunday's Lad's Leap result please. :-) 55 points (me 71:09, winner Andy Swift 49:03). My excuse - I wasn't race fit having just returned to the UK, and I took too many pictures on the way round. :-)
For April please put me down for Chicken Run, Calderdale Hike, Herod Farm, The Fellsman, possibly Rivington Pike. Thank you.
81 points so far this month for me from tonight's bunny run.
Winner - James Hall in a blistering 14:48, me 17:35.
Hi, Daz!
Looks like I'm destined to be racing against top class athletes wherever I go! Ilkley Moor won by Tom Adams, just pipping Simon Bailey & Heptonstall won by Adam Osbourne, retaining his title & lowering the course record! Best score for me was 65 at Heptonstall, so it'll have to do!
As Rob points out above, it's not going to get any better in April, with James Hall flying round the Bunny Runs in 14.49, just 10 seconds off the course record! I managed a PB of 20.21 last night, but I don't think it'll be troubling the scorers - we shall see. As well as the Bunnies, I'll be attempting something completely different, with another bash at the 3 Peaks. Perhaps long & steady is the way to go?! ;)
Hi Daz,
Can i please have 67 points for the bunny runs, my time 19.38. Think i passed Hobbsy after the Egg Stage.
Also did Donard, and didnt get lost but 1.05.25 for the leader and 1.30.01 for me is only 62 points and down on my hobble score. Next race is pendle where i probably wont do any better, then maybe another bunny run later in the month.
Dan
You weren't alone!! I'd like to say I eased up at that point, saving myself for the weekend, but that'd be a lie! I look forward to the re-match. :D
And this looks like Dan powering up the first climb - good technique!
