Club run tonight, good to be on the hill and not messing about with that trail running nonsense
8.7 miles trail running nonsense:) (But in my head I'm running up Bowfell!)
Lovely 9.25 miles over the lesser trodden paths of Ilkley Moor late yesterday afternoon. Taking in the delightful High Plantation. Finished off with a pint of Guinness in The Crescent. Enjoying all the bogs whilst I can.................................
Did a 4 mile lung buster (for me) 650ft climbing up to and around roseberry and then back down. at an average 10 min mile pace (not quick I know but I have lumber to shift). I did the first 2.4 miles at 10.30 minute miles then played a game on the descent where I needed to get below 10 mins miles average by the finish! I jusr failed this but it was fun and meant my last mile was the quickest! It made a fun alternative to my usual slow and long trail / fell runs where I just try and get distance in!
Also thouroughly enjoyed throwing myself down the side of Roseberry and the path vs Chute debate popped into my head! I chose the Chute!!!
Only time for a quick run today unfortunately.
6.3 miles and 900 ft over Scout Scar. Cracking day for it:thumbup:
First proper training run today rather than just jogging around some hills tentatively. Went up to Capplestone Gate from Conistone, 4.5m 1200', went up through the Dib and along the Turf Road. Climbed out of the Dib on the way back to visit the cairn on the promentary where the Iron Age settlement is, nice route.
planned on doin a nice long run today but due to me travelling later today I had to cut it short. I did 5 miles, pretty slow but then did a bit of hill sprinting, Im soaking wet so it can't have been all that useless a run :) total 800ft ascent!
moel siabod 5.8mile 2,267ft in preparation for the snowman triathlon this sunday! steep wet and rocky!
10k xc run and a 2hr 15m cross bike squirm
