Steady 20.25 miles.. 6:50 pace.. tired, hard going into the wind for the first 10.. getting sick of road running.. 6 weeks til my 100k then mountains/fells again..
3 1/2hrs on the hill, good to be on the hill. Cold on top, verglas in places.
Steady 10 miles on the road.. surprisingly... 8 min miles.. nice recovery.. hilly trails tomorrow..
4.5 head torch run tonight millers Dale :-) legs a bit heavy and adductors have been shown the foam roller!!
Should have been a marathon, but 4-5 hrs of driving and $55 entry fee, then 20 mph winds and sub zero temps put me off so went out with the local track club...
15 miles, 6:30 pace, last 4 were all 6:10-6:00 pace. Nice morning session. Found that hard going at 8:30 in the morning..
Just 5 miles for me, hard up and down Moel Y Gest, nice sunset at the top, returning to Borth Y Gest by the coastal path.
20 miles - Ribblehead to Horton via Whernside and Ingleborough then an out and back up Penyghent
Decent pint of Old Peculiar in the Crown afterwards
Easy hour on the hill, absolutely lovely conditions. Truly wonderful to be alive and scampering about.
Long run on the cards tomorrow after 6 hours of wondering about strangers houses.
