10 on Saturday and 8.5 around the White Holme circular route(ish) today.
11 miles up some hills, along a Dale, up another hill, along a track then down a hill, through a farm yard, down another hill to a river bank and along the river to finish on the Monsal Trail (bloody horrible on there today! Think the whole world now owns a bike). Never saw a soul till I hit that. I'm not terribly sure where I went till I look at the route on the computer as made it up as I went along.
Tonight folks I'm shattered!!! Beautiful day though :-)
15mile bike to the climbing wall. 1hour of climbing (bouldering and upto to 6a on those monstrosities called autobelays!) Circuits on cardio machines/pullups/pressups/leg raises. 15mile ride home. Good day.
Not a great morning.. then a lovely fairly hard 20 miler through NJ pinelands.. 20 miles of fairly flat pine needle covered sandy trails... just superb trail running.. just above freezing, cold crisp day.. 2:25 out, nice lunchtime blast.
Yesterday was a hill recovery run. Today warm up followed by 4 x 2.5min progressive hill sprints with a cool down jog to finish. Enjoying the training plan once I'm out there :-). I do go out but sometimes I have to tell myself off for coming up with excuses. No excuse has won for the last 3 weeks. Tomorrow is a rest day Saturday will be interval training on the Monsal trail :-)
I ran a steady 3 miles last night. Half trail half road sprinting betwen lamposts. Had 2 injuries this month so I'm feeling a little stircrazy!
1 mile warm up then half hours worth of hill reps of various lenghs,1 mile warm down, slowly getting fitter:)
2hr 45m on the hill, tremendous fun.
Very tired day.. 5,5 miler mid morning..
Evening.. treadmill session.. very tired but got going a bit.. 6.7 miles with 5 x 1k reps 5:25-5:15 pace.. feeling really tired, should hit over 100 for the week, but all flat running, 2 rep sessions, a 20 miler and a 15 miler with tempo session included.. tough week..
First time in almost a year that I've managed to run on three consecutive days.
Still can't get anywhere near sub seven minute mile pace again though.
Really need to lose a stone now to make that a possibility....and there's no imminent prospect of such an occurrence!
