Life has never been better for a Blue, not for 40 years anyway Stagger. Although it's frustrating, this is what our club is all about. Only City can make you feel so many emotions, and let them run away with you. :)

Not if we win our game in hand and turn over your ever decreasing Goal Difference advantage!

You're right we're doomed

God I wish Dickov hadn't have equalised in 1999, it would have allowed us to have had another year or 2 in that division so that we could have grown and progressed at a more sustainable rate. We just weren't prepared for our rapid rise. :w00t:

A lot to happen yet.. City to Norwich.. City to Arsenal.. United to Blackburn (we lost at OT).. and United at home have dropped points.. at the moment there is too much emphasis on the derby.. nervey time now for all, silly results time..

I agree Iain - i'm not so sure form means anything at this end of the season and tend to think it's more about eeking out results in Cup Finals week after week.
There are plenty of twists to come and Yaya's goal might be crucial. I'm happy with 4 points from Chelsea and Stoke. We were without Kompany and Lescott in both these games, and I am sure Utd will come up against opponents as determined and fired up as Stoke were yesterday:wink:
Re: Tonight's football thread
City to Newcastle as well isn't it?
I have to say with City's away form, these fixtures that they probably need to win don't look that winnable. Then at home they don't get any tougher than Utd.
Utd have only one tough fixture left away at City and they could be 6 clear by the time they get to that.

United were were shockingly bad last night.
Fulham got at them and should have had a penalty that would have resulted in a draw.
I am now convinced United will drop points on the road and maybe even at home.
This title is far, far from over.
Oh....and subbing Rooney for Scholes, hmmmmmm somebody's botty is twitching!!!:w00t:

We weren't good.. but we've not been good for 31 games and we've gone from 7 adrift to 3 ahead...
Somehow, with an alcoholic manager with dementia, a fat centre forward, a geriatric midfield, an over rated defence, a shit keeper we have 73 points from 30 games.. 3 more than the team with 300 million pounds worth of talent..
I think the fact he makes brave calls and subs his key players like Rooney and Rio is why after 30 games we don't look as tired... Man City have a much stronger squad.. we all know that, but Mancini doesn't trust his squad.. he plays the same players week in week out... Fergie's used more players than Mancini so far... and you look tired... Silva looks tired and out of sorts and he was your key man.. the return of Tevez is timely indeed...
Its not over at all, but as you said its about eeking out results now, we went through a hell of a run of fixtures and actually gained ground
I think the next few games will be crucial, if we beat blackburn and you drop points at Sunderland you then go to Norwich and Arsenal needing the points.. but then again Blackburn are turning things around and Sunderland have had some wallopings so it could easily swing right back...
