Nowt, as promised!
Saints Lad, does your fell run count as a recovery run then?
I messed up on a hilly 5 mile race on Wednesday (31:40) because of doing too much, then last night doing an hour of Fell hill reps have completely done me in.
I am going to start training properly on June 11th and may as well use this thread to make sure I stick to some kind of training regime!
64 lengths in the pool as knee still knacked!!!
I've not run for 6 days now and if anything its got worse!
Another day without tomorrow and Monday I'm going for a run pain or not!!!!
:( hope the knee gets better soon calf, no falling down on it after a few beers later ;)
Well not training as such, but wanted to mention my first race in New Hampshire USA ( just a week after arriving)
Was called "The Big Lake Half Marathon" - http://www.timbermantri.com/biglakeindex.html
Undulating course with a tough section in the middle, about 1400 runners. Ajohns did 1:28:36 and I think finished in the first 50!! Weather was quite warm but lovely and sunny and the scenery was amazing. Overall standard here is probably not as high as back home.
Not a particularly good run, but reasonably please
RR - you should pencil this in for next year. You would smash the record no problem.
Well Done Ajohns!:D :D
:D well done that man!
