6.5 hilly miles around Duky Golf course
5Km treadmill run this afternoon in 18.50 first time I have cracked the 20 min mark.
last night steady 10 miles on roads around Fulwood, Preston. Nice lamb curry at leisure centre afterwards:)
Another 53 minutes this early evening about half of it a la head torch
Yesterday
Club run up Pendle. Interesting weather. Felt a bit knackered when we'd finished and batteries nearly died in my head torch so could only see my shadow most of the time. 80 mins
Today
Took some of the sixth form out mtbing. Didn't set a very good example when I nose dived at a bit of speed on a greasy lane near Flasby. Got a good graze on my thigh , bum, calf and arm. Smacked my head pretty hard too, very glad of a decent helmet. Bent my thumb back for good measure making gripping the grips pretty painful. Good ride; 3 hours.:)
Winced a bit as I got in the bath:eek:
Bashed out a relaxed 45mins, legs didn't feel as bad as I would have thought off the back of some really tough training in the last few days. Followed the run with the toughest circuit session we have done so far this winter, 3 x 20 on 20 off on each of the 16 stations!!!
........don't really want to admit.....but....did a flat 5km road race.
short night run over eastern edge of kinder. Beautiful night with a clear moon.
Hour and a half round Bradley and Farnhill tonight. No need for head-torches as just the most beautiful night to be out. Inch perfect navigation from millipede! :D

As I said at the time, I especially liked it when we ran past Cocklick Laithe.
Although the two pints of Landlord were the highlight.
That is the kind of moonlit night that makes you all calm and tranquil. Or is that the beer?

Do you think it would be a good omen if you bought it to renovate?
Oh Milli, don't let's ask for the moon...
Slow recce of DP club champs route over Kinder from Snake Inn- Downfall-Grindslow and back via similar route. Having run DF-Grindslow many times I'm sure the moors are constantly in flux as I can never find that 'short fast trod' that i used last time.
9 miles
just going to do four and a half miles after work tonight
6.5 miles down the canal and around the golf course and back at lunch time. Felt quite fit today - it must be those pounds I've lost :)
Oh and do K & C allow gate crashers on their wednesday evening jaunts?
A fast 10 round Burbage, Millstones and Longshaw way.
Nice and misty, very quiet out there
55:41min Greenfield - Chew Res Track - back thru Plantation...misty/fine rain...
Feel a bit battered after yesterdays mishap. Got a thunbs up style bandage around my hand! So just a bit of an easy gym session doing what I could, chatting and drinking coffee.
Just three shortish road runs from home so far this week - all hilly though:)
Tues: 4 miles
Weds: 4.8 miles
Tonight: 4.75 miles
Club fell run from Bull's Head, Tintwistle 7pm.
Followed the Gravy Pud route but skirted around Lees Hill.
Good to have Manhar with us.
Nice meal and real ale by the fire in the pub afterwards.
Last night's track session, I opted for shorter faster option.
2 x 500m (90s rec)
600m, 400m (90s rec)
700m, 300m (90s rec)
4 x 200m (45s rec)
nice gentle six miles before work
Richard got back home OK Manhar. Felt much better after a few pints and a warm by the fire, but he's never bashed his ribs before (Can you believe that at 60?) and, although he said he still planned to do the next night run at Hayfield, I don't think he knows how bad it will get in the next couple of days and how long it takes to recover.
This week oi ave mainly been:

5.8 miles of easy running :)
11 miles on roads and towpaths around napton on the hill . felt good and not a murmur from the plantar f .
50mins steady around home last night - this Friday evening road run's getting to be a bad habit :( Might have a little walk by the river later. Wensleydale Wedge tomorrow :)
2 1/2 hrs v. early this morning in the wettest conditions I've seen for many many months. Based around Holme Moss/Black Hill/Crowden area. All streams swollen and treacherous underfoot, took a tumble more than once and found crossing waterways, errrm, **interesting**.
Lashed it down for the entire time then (surprise, surprise) stopped raining when I got back to the car (thanks god!).
Still, all good practice for Tanky's.... ;)
Today's run took 2hrs 20 (12.65) miles out with Tryfan and Sinatra early this morning around Ashurst Beacon and Parbold Hill race routes with the Fairy Glen included as well. Some tough hill work today with a bit of everything thrown in for good measure. A lot of mud and heavy fields along the way. Good company with great scenery and an abundance of wildlife on route.
Had a quick 16mi trot out over Pendle today;)
