I am. Its a fair old drive from Lancaster.
Yes. Last year took our van and drove t start using map memory. Camped in car park along with several others. believe some also arrived and slept? in sports centre.
Hoping to do same this year.
Live in reston - is someone wantif to try to vehcile share? ( prepared to share transport rather than bed in van!)

That is what i was wondering......I have a van i can sleep in and thought i may get a better nights sleep in there also than in a hall full of people! Fab! I may see you all on the car park then!
Never done this one and was toying with the idea of giving it a go? Is anyone on here travelling from the Dukinfield/Manchester area who wouldn't mind help towards the cost of petrol and such like? Also looking at the possibility of sleeping in the Hall the night before. Sounds like a random journey of self discovery?

Yes please. Just sorting out my route- over the tops or cowardly round M62 etc. Not keen on dark etc in the van.
Also need to decide on footwear yet as so many of my shoes seem to be at the trashed stage!
Hope it is drier than the Lakes were last Sunday!
