Aye I'll be there Tussockface, nice little race this.
Many thanks to all involved for today's race. I would like to give a massive thanks to fellow race participant Mark Wharton who very kindly lent me a pair of fell shoes to run in. I'd only decided to race today at the last minute and in a fluster forgot to pack my mudclaws. I was ready to run in my walking shoes until Mark became my knight in shining CVFA vest. I just about managed to squeeze my feet into Mark's 2 sizes small shoes and paid for it on all the decent....big toes took a right hammering. Thanks again Mark, I have a bottle of wine here with your name on it.... Cheers.
It was an incredible result from race winner today!! :)
She was 5th or 6th at the top of the 1st climb and 30 secs approx in front not far from the finish powering home to finish 1st and I think the results will confirm she was 30 secs in front of the next runner at the finish - an awesome performance.

You're right Bill, that doesn't happen too often. Bet there was a gasp as she appeared at the top of the finish field!
Great stuff.
I know a few of the front runners went wrong when going around Stoodley god knows how as its fully bloody marked !!!!!!!!! They didn't go around the the Pike and come back on them self's. A friend was running 2nd I think and ended up 5th after this.
