Jason,
I think maximum entries is 250. I can't remember it ever being full, except when it was a Championship race. I think you'll be just fine turning up on the day...

I think he was talking about the campsite, not the race for which entries closed on 28th June. I think Jason is 79 on the entry list.
Re. your comment on being first on the entry list, I guess in an alphabetical listing, you're almost always at the top. I imagine there are times when that's an advantage, and others when it isn't.
I don't think you can book in advance for the NT campsite but there is another basic campsite near the Inn if it was full.
And there is a campsite at Nether Wasdale
Weather forecast looking good at the moment, but then it has changed a couple of times every day this week so who knows. The other two Westies have pulled out so say hello to the only big'W' there, if its vest weather.
See some of you soon.

Bum chops!
Just made a last minute decision not to go down for this.
Getting a new job in Yorkshire means we want to put our house on the market asap so I really couldn't justify the time away. Shame really but the hills won't go away. Enjoy it those who go, the weather looks to be improving.
See some of you at Borrowdale maybe?
:(
