Pendle Fell Race

Only just!!!!

I did see you coming for me out the corner of my eye, and thought I better stop jogging, and start running :D

Oh dear. Less pies maybe?

A great race and many many thanks to the organiser, marshalls and spectators.
Even tho it was only a 4 miler, it was a tough bike back to Hebden Bridge. I think only having 1 packet of chocolate sesame snaps after the race, after cycling from HB was a bad mistake. Was absolutely knackered when I got home......bed by 8 I think!!!

I first did this race in 1985 and competed every year except 1987. There was no race in 2001 due to FMD, so 2009 was my 23rd outing.

The race I've done most times is Pendleton. Again, first time in 1985, no race in 2001 due to FMD, so this year will be my 24th consecutive race.

Can anyone beat that ?

That's quite a target to beat. Maybe you could offer a lifetimes amount of free beer to anyone who has done more. (Providing they don't go silly of course ;) ).

I think I'd better stop offering free beer to my challenges as I'm sure I'll come a cropper one day.......maybe.:eek:
