Just had a go at Emmilou’s Banana cake :D
Having observed Al’s massive achievement a couple of posts up I thought about starting with a smaller effort.
Looking at the recipe I decided to ‘third’ it, using 1 banana, egg etc.
I placed the mix in a loaf tin and the result was a nice slab 1” thick in the middle that cut into convenient 1” wide pieces.
The only trouble is that I am so impressed that ¼ has been devoured already :eek:
I bet you ate it before you took a photo of it aye Trog?
Excellent :D as I said before you can use it as a base and really vary it....chuck in some walnuts or choccie chips for example and you never get bored of it!Quote:

Love the carrot cake recipe, i have one similiar to it.
