Doing this race. Shoe Advice: Was going to run this in Inov8 X talon 212's. Any advice on if these are suitable of is there a LOT of hard ground and tarmac to cover. feedback welcomed as I haven't a clue?

A lot of hard ground and tarmac?
Not what first springs to mind when I think about the FTOP! There is a tiny bit at the start and end, but in the large section between, you will require full fell shoes, easy choice to make really :)

I'm sure the organiser of Pendle realises you need to run barearse to fully appreciate the terrain.
