boiled or fried?
I saw a big bummed vole on the allotment. :)
A Buzzard hovering like a Kestrel. Quite a sight seeing such a large bird struggling to maintain its static position, unlike the very graceful Kestrels. It seemed to defy all the laws of gravity and physics. :)

A happy family of Robins, should fledge this week.
I was round at my mothers yesterday and there was quite noise coming from her roof. There were numerous sparrow nests, with young flying down to the garden and back, must have been close to 20-25 birds altogether. some of the young were sitting in a hanging basket next to us whilst we had dinner in the garden Mum wants them removed sharpish but I've told her she'll have to wait until they all leave as Spuggies are getting quite rare.

I've been trying to figure out if it's worth putting a 'swift box' in the eaves of my garage.
It's not exactly wildlife, but yesterday I went through a bit of land that I've not gone through before. Turns out there's a farm rearing Herefordshire cattle...

Grouse and 2 babies on Black Moor as I bashed up from Moorfield to the Pennine Way, and I saw (very briefly) a lizard type thing, but too brief a view to get a good look before it dashed into the grass as I was decending Doctors Gate
