Couple of times round the red route in Gisburn forest on the crosser. Not all that impressed with the routes, more fun to be had up and over the hill behind my house. Great for the kids though if you have or can borrow some.
1hr 5 mins to work this morning, will be 10mins more home.
Approx 38/9 mile today.
What a ride home in the heavy rain:eek: I need some all weather tyres:o
Did you go around the new red route? I found it ok not quite a good as winlatter there is only one part I run at guisburn, a couple of switch backs below welpstone crag(scratting for grip) even the black bit at the top is ridable but as you say, still more fun to on the fells
Splendid 2hour off-roader on mountain bike. Social ride with a dozen or so friends, forumites and K&C club mates, organised and led by Antisocial. He even bought me a beer.
A nice 50miles tonight
A bit dark and just got back with my lights on. Needed a can of coke after Sundays exertions:eek:.
A bit windy but a lovely night.
Donned out in my Mapei Quick Step top i decided to blast from Matlock down to the Hurt Arms at Tom Boonen pace, Errr ouch.
