Hi Emm, long time no see, all ok? :)
All my bikes go out in the rain, apart from my track bike... Then again, none of the are pink :D
all ok Hann, sort of...always a drama of sorts kicking off!!!! You?
I have my winter hack for those wet dark nights but don't want to go on that yet when it's still SUPPOSED TO BE SUMMER . Anyway, the rain has stopped so looks like I can play out after all as long as am back before lighting up time as the pink bike doesn't do lights either!!! :D
A moderately hilly ride with 7 others from the club out to Hellifield, Airton, over the moors to Settle and on to a fantastic hidden gem of a cafe at Feizor. The return was a very wet one and involved losing 3 riders, finding 2 and then locating the other 20 miles further up the road. Around 70 miles at 16 average with a few bumps included.
Got home from work in the heavy rain again.
Hit a pothole and then that horrible hissing sound (flat tyre)
I just put a new tube in.
Old lad under the bus shelter said "in my day we would have repaired that"
I said for the fiver it cost I was not even bothered.
He then asked why I was using a solid tyre on the back and an inflatable on th front.
I smiled and bid him good evening:)
25 mile blast after work in the glorious evening sunshine. Went as fast my little legs could take me :D Lots of bikies out tonight but they must have all been in a mood as were all miserable buggers
Only 1 idiot driver on the road tonight.
Got home got off the bike with proper wobbly legs! :o
