A bottle of Tag Lag last night. Lovely stuff.
two cracking bottles last night, both Sierra Nevada.
Stout . chocolate and malt. 5.8% (7/10)
Celebration IPA. lovely hoppy flavour. 6.8% (8/10)
After a long walk yesterday finished off in the Boltmakers Arms in Keighley town centre. The entire Timothy Taylor's range please !!:w00t:
Sunday's walk finished in The Anderson in Fortrose, for 2 halves of a very strong Belgian Tripel beer. Blimey it went down well. A new regular pub I fear......
Hardknott centurian or 2 :)
my irregular trip to the awesome BeerRitz (in headingley) has yielded a divine brew (and a highly average one).
Thornbridge - Raven (9/10). a BLACK IPA (?). don't let the mixed beer metaphors fool you, it really is an amazing brew. can't wait to stumble across it on draught, pity I only got 1.
Kernel - Delta/Chinook Pale Ale. (4/10) just got the feeling it had more to offer but never quite got there. smells lovely, but doesn't deliver on taste.
a study in mediocrity!
St Austell - Proper Job (5/10) an average brown booze beery affair. nothing stood out for me
Brewdog - Alice Porter (5/10) a disappointment, having raved about every other brewdog I found this thin and watery with nothing to redeem it in the flavour department
