not really. feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best. Clair is organising it this year where as Plumbum with my and Brents help has done it the last two years.
The first CP is on the path junction after crossing the main road at Crowden, the second is mentioned above, approx 100m up the path up Lady Clough from where the Path comes down from Birchen clough layby. Out of bound areas are Rollicking stones and the snake road. Grid refs are mentioned above and on last years thread, The registration is in the same place as last year.
Keep an eye on the Dark peak website news page as well.

For those not from the Peak Distict, it would be really useful if checkpoint grid references could be stated. Talk of "Lady Clough" this, " Birchen Clough" that is all very well, but it leaves a south westerner like me totally cold.
It has to be said, I'm with Compo on this: I don't know what was wrong with the old route down the A57. If I never ran along an A road, I'd never go running. I really hope that the Four Inns race does not take the retrograde step of altering their route and maintains the original challenge that includes the road section along the A57.

Get your map out and take a virtual run round it!

Hi Phil
No the CP hasn't been there for the last 2 years. It's on the path junction at a gate/stile SK 07281 99202, this is about 200m earlier along the path just after you have crossed the road.
Be good to see you again.
