Hi Daz,
First score for September from Derbyshire Chevin 2:
Me: 22:06
Winner: 18:18
79 points please. Hopefully improve on this at Totley Exterminator (unlikely) or Stanage Struggle (possibly).
Hi, Daz.
Did you make it to Crowden in the end? Was looking for a Fell Ponies vest, but as a fashion icon I guess you have so many!!
Don't know how many points it'll garner for August, as no results with times on yet! I was 41st in just over 1.20, so if anyone knows the winner's time, I can work it out!
September possibles are Cross Keys Relay, Padfield Plum Fair & Three Shires.
Cheers,
Phil
Hobbsy, winning time at Crowden was 1:04:02.
Daz, thanks for the table update. That Crowden time only gets me 56, which leaves my August score as it is. For September I have Bullock Smithy Hike and High Peak 40 confirmed so far.
Thanks, Nick.
ha, ha,ha My UTMB gets me 6 points ( all that running and effort for SIX points)
44 points from yesterdays Gritstone Grind
thanks
Had an injury hit summer but back yesterday at Rombalds Romp 'Fell v Trail' race for which the *Fell winner, Chris Miller went round in 47:51 against my 67:00 for the Fell route, so, as I don't have anything else planned for this month, 60 points please Daz.
*The trail winner went round in 44:16 (similar length & total climb but with a 1 mile+ section of mostly road/rough track as opposed to narrow paths across the moors hence faster time).
Thanks
MT
Hi, Daz.
You probably heard Des say he hopes to publish the Crowden results soon, after potential miscreants have been suitably dealt with! In the meantime, I'll just go with my Garmin time of 1.21.38 against BritNick's winning time of 1.04.02 (he wishes!), which gives me 73 points for August.
A double-header over the weekend gave a decent start to September, with the fell leg at the Cross Keys relays netting 73, only to be bettered at the Plum Fair Scamper with a time of 44.11 (subject to official Des ratification) netting 76 points (against Tom Savile's 35.44). Don't imagine I'll top that this Saturday at the Three Shires, but you never know, the fast lads might all be at Scafell.....!!
And having seen the photographs of the Plum Fair Scamper, I now know what you look like, Daz, so will introduce myself next time! :)
Cheers,
Phil
