Question for the CX experts...
If you were building a bike up from scratch would you build it with both cross top brake levers and STI's, or just stick with the STI's ?
Yes, both
but not a CX expert!
I'd say both.... made a massive difference for me on the Three Peaks and on more traditional cross races. Also surprisingly nice to have on the bike if you're using it as a winter trainer on the road.
i reckon experts wouldn't have 'em...( how can you go fast in a race sitting so upright and in a non aggressive position )

one thing though, if you ride your cx bike alot and also your road bike...you can find yourself going for non existent brakes on the road bike....weird:(
