Agreed! I normally equal it to watching paint dry, but watching Wiggins ride a TT machine is awesome, what power and style! :)

What a good day for medals.
I loved his comment afterwards when he realised he was at the peak, the summit, the unbeatable highpoint of a sporting career. TDF and olympic gold in the same year? In-bl**dy-credible. Equal or perhaps even exceeding a Redgrave (highest point on sporting scale). I am no real fan of cycling but I can readily appreciate the scale of achievement. All dyed-in-the-wool fans must have a very warm feeling now, akin to that which I felt at the conclusion of the Opening Ceremony when this ancient Floyd fan (0.75 on the Breeze scale of crustiness) felt pride that his band's music gave the final moments such pathos and drama...in addition to the other reference of the pig proudly shown at Battersea on the opening fly-through of London!
