Oh YES
As forum masscot he insists he attends as many races as possible:D
He knows some good lines but there is usually a sheep at the end of them.

Given my laces somehow managed to come undone on the nice wide packhorse track at Windmills Whizz looks like I will need the very best triple bows:eek:.
Better not let 'Welsh' Tom read this otherwise he will follow those lines;)Quote:

Did this from memory using CVFR checkpoint info on their website and its clockwise. Website also has a map showing how to get there from Mytholmroyd.

The red dot indicates parking lane as you can't park on the road that passes the start as you block the buses if you do. See you there mate :D
Your checkpoints are in the right place, but that direct NNE line from the Sheepstones trig would be very rough underfoot. Unless you're James Logue, I'd say it's better to head north and pick up the path to Dimmin Dale, turning east to the checkpoint. Some people take a middle option, using the path at first but cutting the corner over the rough.
Oh, and don't be fooled: the footpaths over Midgley Moor shown on the OS map bear little relation to those on the ground. It all adds to the fun. :D
Don't worry about getting lost though. The paths are mostly only one Walsh in width, so the race is something of a procession. There'll be somebody to follow.
