We'll be at there tomorrow night but probably not running :closed:
Just done 30 mins up and down the local woods. Got the legs burning a little. Lovely night!
Gloriously muddy 4 miles round Gooseye - thanks everyone and apologies if Blue accidently got under your feet :o He loves everyone!
7.25 mile along the Wharfe at Bolton Abbey (cricket club to aqueduct and back) with Stef and three pals and two dogs. Nice fire in the Swan afterwards
6.5 mile from White Lion with Dead Steve, Rich H, Brett, Stef and a young guy with a beard (didn't catch his name but nice lad). Much cooler than last week or two but still incredibly wet underfoot. Chilli and Copper Dragon beers in the Lion after were splendid :w00t:
It was a great run. Seen bits of Silsden, Bradley and Kildwick moor that Emily could only dream about.
White Lion - what more could you ask!
I just logged on to say ... Route route??
and that I'm still ill... If anyone missed me??
Have even been off work ( very unusually) this week.
I seem to have caught a lurgy from someone that lasts for weeks!!
Although I see from Stef's blog you were "searching for paths, stiles and gates".
;)
.....
A nice little run out over Lea Green to the Bycliffe Road then drop down to Conistone & back along the path that takes you upto the top of Grass woods then back along Lea Green home. A brilliant night for a headtorch run in the snow:thumbup:
Three and a bit mile road run. Pavements a bit icy but not a problem
You should have come over here, a glorious 5 mile run across the tops in virgin snow.
Followed by Landlord and Ram Tam
See you Wednesday!
Harry's headtorcher tonight :)

Keswick to top of Dodd and back. No friends tonight, so just me and my MP3 player...
Phil
I'm looking forward to a run out tonight in the snow. I hope someone knows where we're going this week mind!
Emily is back, phew....
V cold blast around Staveley tonight. Snow added 10 mins to the route! Stunning night.
Cold on the tops tonight but chicken stew in the Lion made up for it. Waiting confirmation from Brett re distance and climb but my guess is 5mile / 600feet
I'm afraid you are miles out Derby.
5.4 miles and a whopping 709 feet of climb
Mine was a beautiful snowy 6 miles and 945 feet. I also bumped into wharfeego and a small running troupe of headtorchers, just as he was splitting off from their longer run, and trotted the last half mile back in Settle with him :)
Somebody else in the troupe said hello to me too but I couldn't work out who it was due to the head torch brightness - some proper head torches on display there ;)
5 mile / 700 feet from the Lion largely in amazing deep snow. Great fun although little idea where we went. Copper Dragon Black Gold afterwards and a bit of fuss for Galileo. All in all not a bad Wednesday night
First run out with my new torch last night, did an orienteering event on the Chevin, was really impressed with the light generated, it made locating the controls in the woods no problem!
10/10 for the Gemini Olympia!
Ran up Beamsley Beacon this evening with my mate Dave C (on a reversed BOFRA race route). The snow was impressive on the way down in particular
Great run in the snow and ice up to big stone with Pennine tonight. Love my new spikes!
6.4 miles for me and Hazzer. Brilliant
To K&C headtorchers. I've probably left this way too late, either for me to get a reply in time or for any of you to even spot this, but I have to pick my daugther up from Nab Wood sports centre tonight at around 8pm and therefore going for a headtorcher with you lot first (with Harry my dog in tow too) might fit the bill. Is anyone off up the hill tonight? If so is it 6:45 as I can just about get there for then.... touch wood!
6:45 or a few minutes later
You and Harry more than welcome
Glad you could make it Brian

You missed onion rings, spring rolls, pizzas - delicious
Emily made sure we didn't get lost
Thanks Brett it was really nice to run with you lot and harry loved it. Next time I'll make the pub too :)
Good work KCAC 'torchers. Food sounds ace :)
