More drivel and a few pictures: http://graemesrunningblog.blogspot.co.uk/
Brilliant coloured pictures. I tried to leave an appreciative comment on your blog, but failed.
Thanks, don't get too many compliments for my pictures. I disabled compliments because, unfortunately I've had people sending me viruses and other dodgy things through the comments.
It's not all fellrunning but I've been doing my best in Australia and the US.

You are a great comfort to me.
Not fell running this time but a lovely wander in the snow watching zephr and mate skiing, and I managed a bit of sledging on the downhill bits....superb to laugh like a kid :)

Cheers tups, it's been a good year overall :)
Keep em coming Captain.
A quick write up of the Jubilee Plunge race last Sunday: http://www.samharrison-ml.co.uk/blog...ee-plunge-race
There has not been much serious research into fell running. Whilst writing my latest book I have been digging deep down many avenues for potential sources. One of these has been of academic publications. I have blogged [warning – it is quite a long ramble – a description that has been applied to the Bob Graham Round!] on two unpublished MSc submissions and one journal paper that I recently consulted. Some of it is good and interesting, and much of it rather shaky in my opinion. I leave you to decide.

Something that I've been thinking about for about a year now.

A little soft board on an elastic strap around your waist?
I had a google for Race Number Holder and found this

Ive already got either a bumbag or a rucksack strap around my waist, Pat. Its a nice idea, but really flappy flappy.
A VERY long overdue update from me - all (ok, most) of last year's races and ramblings:

i must stop being so precious about achieving 'the perfect write-up'! I mainly keep my blog as something to show/inspire my sons when they're older; the challenge comes in reporting on races i've done multiple times.
Mine are done in brain dump fashion, typos included free of charge
Still plodding: http://graemesrunningblog.blogspot.co.uk/

New year and new, improved (???), blogs:

Recent writings about the Round of Loch Mullardoch last August, posted in the long distance challenges forum but I'll dump it here too in case anyone's interested.

Stolly, some really beautiful photos there! How I wish I could afford the train fare. Still Blubber house moor was particularly beautiful this weekend.
Thanks Mathew. Another snowy run from Malham last Sunday
