Well done LJ for fastest leg 4
Well I did have until the leg 4 mass-start runners have been given a 5 minute 'adjustment', which means I would be 2nd behind Pippa.. hope Math & the results team know what they're doing.
But yes, I would be surprised to be that close to Simon Bailey when I couldn't even walk down steps for all of August.
Well done Pippa!
To confirm the cup-final replay result:
Bad Magners (97):
21 Dark Peak open
20 Mercia open
15 CVFR vets
20 Ambleside women
21 HBT women
LissaJous (94):
18 Eryri open
20 Mercia open
15 CVFR vets
20 Ambleside women
21 HBT women
So Bad Magners has become the first manager to do the double.
As always, the prize is that you've earned (doubly) free entry into any or all of the Midsummer Madness races next year, BM.
Not that anyone has ever taken up the offer!
Mr Brightside (93)
21 HBT women
18 Eryri open
21 Dark Peak open
16 CVFR women
17 Borrowdale vets
Mr B's team posted after the relays actually scored 2 points less than that the one before!!!
Thanks Bill for all the effort you put in to give us a lot of fun. Maybe you could present my prize at the FRA Dinner after the Lakeland Classics presentation ?? After all, the FF Champs are far harder to win !!!! :)
Incidentally, can anyone guess who are the only two managers to have managed in the top league every year since we started in 2008?
I cracked Bill, you can't just post a team and leave it at that- that's not FFR. Cheers for another good year Bill, once again my bid for the top echelons has failed; middle of the road at running and middle of the road at managing.Quote:
