You lazy so and so. It's 10am at the Moot Hall and I believe we are running around the Coledale Whoreshoe plus a bit extra:D

Me and the missus are having a walk, is anyone else walking?

Any last minute roosting recommendations? I was going to stay at the YHA again but the thought of making some shapes to the Loft's Tuesday nite Funky House Classics is too tempting! :cool:

The thought of waking up hungover to hell and with sore feet from hours of House Classics, then having to sit down to breakfast with Pudgy is indeed scary :eek: I think I might sleep on the Moot hall steps instead :cool:

Nice to see I'm not the only one who hasn't sorted any accommodation out yet. Stupid YHA curfew, they have a numberpad thing on the door now but still insisted I got back at 11:30 when I last stayed in the summer :(

Last year whatever theme music night it was didn't happen, it was usual student night fare with a few Christmas songs in, would expect much the same this year. But if not, since I'm not down with what the cool kids are listening to any more, maybe Al can tell us what to expect from Funky House Classics?

I'm driving up Monday morning, expect to get to Keswick area around 10am if any wants a run/walk. If not maybe I can tempt people with a few beers in the evening?:cool:

I ended up sprinting through the streets of Keswick (yeah, right) and getting to the YHA at about the time you were lacing your dancing shoes up last year Steve :eek:

Must remember not to get too drunk this time either as I have all my Christmas shopping to do on Christmas eve ;):cool::p

Well according to wikipedia-
Funky house is a loose definition for a commercially orientated, disco influenced subgenre of house music.[1] Like most varieties of house, the genre follows a traditional four to the floor house beat, and makes heavy use of synthesizers, samples and soulful vocals, though instrumental tracks are also common. Notable producers that have worked in this genre include the Freemasons, Soul Central, Armand van Helden, StoneBridge and Seamus Haji.

So basically its house music thats abit different. As for classics - god knows.

All the more reason to get too drunk, then you'll still be tipsy when it comes to doing the shopping and you can make some inspired purchases :)

I need to go into town 2mz and buy some new jeans and shoes. But i seriously hate shopping!!!!!

My previous 'going out' jeans, i scuffed them to hell when i crashed my bike....ooooops.
