Just finished listening to an amazing slow-burn. Was quite underwhelmed by Kate Bush's Aerial at first. Now, still think disc one is mainly pants, but disc 2 is quite possibly one of the greatest pieces of music ever created by a female British artist. It has me completely under its spell. She's barking, of course (who else would ever try to duet with a blackbird??), but taken as a whole, disc 2 (A Sky of Honey) is utterly enchanting. Put it on, loud, and just soak it up.
just got a bit of bon jovi on

Playing live Cannock Chase.
Sorry Tup, have to disagree. She's descended into parody...all mannerism and no style. A very sad spectacle.
Yes Multiterrainer will certainly be at the MEN for Simple Minds. Nice to see Deacon Blue supporting them.:)
Thought the Mandela concert was a bit of a let down from the point of we only got to see one song from most of the artists who payed other than Queen. Most who did play sounded pretty good.
Not been able to see much of Glastonbury on TV other than a bit of Amy Whitehouse thought she was awful.:o I know Derby Tup will probably disagree with me but she just seems to be going downhill rapidly to me.
Have to admit fellas that Amy wasn't good last night! I did enjoy the performance though, admittedly in a 'what's on earths going to happen next' fashion. Her band and backing singers were good, and occasionally when she wasn't sounding like a drunken karaoke singer, she wasn't too bad and reminded you of her amazing talent!
In full agreement with you Multiterrainer Neil Diamond is a top songwriter as well as a great singer. Quite a shy person by all accounts and shuns a lot of the limelight.
Hopefully one day may get to see him live? I always seem to miss him when he tours over here for one reason or another.
And also,
