Haha, hows the legs, i bet they are tired now!
They where jelly as soon as i set off. I spent the first mile convincing myself i was going to do terrible.
They managed to hold up ok but where really tight and i was quite worried i might get cramp but i get at my pace and gradually passed runners one by one.
Hehe...
A group of 17 of us had a plod round the Clwydian Hills from Cilcain this morning. Ground was frozen with ice in places. Even had a few flakes of snow but only a few! Went over Moel Arthur and Penycloddiau.
Ditched the planned slow 3 hours for a faster paced 90 minutes after oversleeping :o
15 miles including an up and down of Snowdon. Place confirmed for 3p yacht race so very happy today :)
Snowing like hell up the hill today - very bracing!!
2hrs 45min headtorch run.. longest run in 2 years, god it's good to be back:D
Impressive to go that long for a head torch run !!
Just an easyish 11.5 mile walk today from Bolton Abbey - I parked up at unofficial riverside parking are just before the A59 roundabout as you drop down from 'dingham to save meself the extortinate (sp?) £5.50 parking  at BA.
Too true I wish I could still do times remotely like some of my pbs :(
Anyway back to reality, 30 minutes easy this morning mainly on grass to avoid slippery underfoot conditions.
A quick bike ride for me, from Ilkley via Nesfield, Beamsley and Storiths to the Cavedish Pavillion and back.
Cold fingers and toes  and some icy back roads too.
50 min run in snow & ice around Cracken Edge & South Head.
Great views with the sun setting over the white fields and a very black cloud heading in
5 mile am. Very snowy. Slipped in Mossley on black ice. Skidded the whole hill!
10 mile pm. Up Alphin from Carrbrook side. Down other side slipping and sliding. Dwn to canal in Greenfield and back via Mossley.
day off! no training:)
Brilliant run up Helvellyn today, sunshine and all, nice views over striding edge from the summit:D
30 minutes of core stability followed by 30 minutes of brisker running than this morning. Better conditions underfoot too :)
11 miles today ran home from work :D
trouble is ive gotta do the same in the morning cause my car is there oh heck :o
I take it 11 miles is the direct route then. I used to take the long way home as the direct route was only 3 miles.
No I'd avoid the motorway too. One bonus for you is no need to de-ice the car in the morning ;)
A slow plod for 33 minutes this morning. Meant to be slow, unfortunately that meant I was never remotely warm !!
6.5 hilly miles last night on icy roads
4 'undulating' miles on trails this lunchtime to break in new YELLOW  wave harriers. Dog was too disgusted by the colour and insisted on running 50 m in front of me :o
9 miles on road tomorrow evening with one l-o-n-g hill in the middle section
8 miles today. lovely day for it.:)
2:16:09hr. Greenfield -Plantation - Chew Res- Laddow Moss - Feather Bed Moss - Windgate Edge - Blindstones - Chew Res - Plantation - Greenfield.

A hellava good 4.5 hours Lakeland fells outing trotting around the Anni Waltz extension with 3 fine people. Views were outstanding postcard sort of ones :)
Darn fine day.
4.6 miles road run from home.
Gym tonight for the first time in a long time - could really feel it, and could feel ive hardly ran lately.
Then finished it off with a swim.
Oh, and ive been working on turning my 10 year old sister into a fell runner!!! So asked me could she join the forum now. I said "NO!"
