The thing that worries me about your lot is that sometimes they don't seem to handle pressure all that well. While you were ahead in the League you started to stutter. Once it seemed like the title was gone and there was nothing to lose, your players relaxed and thrashed West Brom and Norwich. Today it was back in your hands again and against a truely awful Wolves side your players were nervous as kittens (and Mancini was worse!) in the second half before Nasri made it 2-0.
In 8 days time you have to beat Man U, a draw will do them and they can sit back and hit you on the break. I might be wrong (and I hope I am) but I don't think you're going to do it. We will see.

Muddy....Can you imagine it........City fans being able to say they won the league against United in a "title decider" - it would be even better than that Denis Law goal. :)
Re: Tonight's football thread
If I was a City fan I'd be more worried about Newcastle away than United at home...

We've beaten all of our last 3 opponents already this season Dan, scoring 12 and conceding 3 on the way. We have it in us to do it again. One step at a time though. Tick tock;)

I'm sure you'll hang on mate, I just think Newcastle away is a harder game than Man U at home. Alan Pardew has to be up for manager of the season.

I can't see us blowing it if we beat the rags Dan. The confidence and self belief we'll gain from beating them will carry us through.:)

I'm with you Daz. It's the first time I have ever said this in my life (48 years) not only this but I actually meant it to a rag fan at work (who goes) "We will beat you on Monday."
I sat down at my desk and realised that I uttered words which I have never done before and more importantly actually felt it.

Well if you think that it must be true... you don't have a track record of wild predictions at all...
Long way to go yet...
