Below the car park & over the road, on the path where it divides between East/West. Don't worry, you won't miss it.

Why on earth are you bothered about cut-off times? You'll be in Edale before then.

I was thinking about doing Gravy Pud as well. What time does tankys start?
Re: Tanky's trog 5/12/2010 is
I've decided not to run this this year so my entry is up for grabs. Not sure what the process is but happy to email Clair with a suggested replacement. PM if interested. :)

Re: Tanky's trog 5/12/2010 is
Just got the final details from Clair. Very surprised to see this route note:
"As in previous years we do not have permission to cross Black Hill down Little Crowden Brook"
I've been taught this route for about 5 years and have always used it (cept the year we went wrong and went past Laddow Rocks...)
Still, the RO has spoken so Tooleyshaw bogs it is.
Re: Tanky's trog 5/12/2010 is
Most people went down Little Crowden Brook last year, and the mrt teams were helping everyone cross there.

I'd just like to say that this is incorrect and untrue. Two years ago we got permission from MR N H of United Utilities. The route was altered after UU asked us to go round a newly seeded area. Any one running two years ago will rememeber we had to run further along the PW to a marked Cairn before cutting back to join the usual route.
This is mentioned on the Forum under route notes here
This year however permission hasn't been granted, some of us inc other Members of the FRA are trying to sort this.
