I think he was the first to win the three big tours as well.
Limited in the mountains but master jacques was the time trial expert.
He won a massive race one day then that nght rode the horrendous Bourdeax - Paris race and won that, beaing Tom Simpson. That race alone was 600k i think.
God why cant i think of the race before?????
